IX Az Alkotmánybíróság

66. cikk — Az Alkotmánybíróság jogállása és összetétele

(1) Az Alkotmánybíróság az Alkotmányt értelmező és védő szerv. Az Alkotmánybíróság független, és csak az Alkotmánynak van alárendelve.

(2) Az Alkotmánybíróság tizenöt alkotmánybíróból áll.

(3) Az Alkotmánybíróság tagjai maguk közül választják meg az Alkotmánybíróság elnökét. Az Alkotmánybíróság a törvény keretei között maga állapítja meg ügyrendjét.

(1) The Constitutional Court is the body that interprets and protects this Constitution. It is independent and bound only by this Constitution.

(2) The Constitutional Court consists of fifteen justices.

(3) The justices of the Constitutional Court elect the President of the Constitutional Court from among their members. The Court adopts its own rules of procedure within the framework of law.
